The ClubEdinburgh University Sub-Aqua Club is branch 0407 of the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC). We are a student club officially recognised by Edinburgh University Sports Union. The club is made up of a wide range of people from all degree subjects, members of staff, and students from other Edinburgh universities too. We go diving all year round so if you have the itch for diving you won't be disappointed.
We are well equipped with a selection of kit for hire at low rates, club boats that you can learn to pilot, a pool of instructors, and strong support from Alumni members. If there's anything you want to do in your recreational diving career, chances are you can do it with us! Are you a beginner with no diving experience whatsoever? Not a problem! Want to further your training? We've got you covered! Got thousands of dives under your belt? We can take you further! We welcome divers from a wide range of other organisations such as PADI, NAUI, SSI, CMAS, and more. You can cross straight over to BSAC with no extra costs: simply join up and come diving. If you're already an instructor with another organisation you can still instruct with us. BSAC offer a Instructor Crossover process that is easy to complete.
